Come and join us at the Graduate House on 24th June 2023 at 12 PM for a luncheon to celebrate 75 years of Soroptimist International of Melbourne, Inc.  Parking is available for free to attendees through access via the left hand side of Church Street to the back of Graduate House.  (The carpark on the right hand side of Church Street is for University ticket holders only)  For a disabled car spot please ring Robyn on 0417241772.  Orders close on 11 am 19 June 2023.  

We are the oldest Soroptimist International Club in Victoria and the second oldest in Australia.
Over 75 years, Soroptimist International of Melbourne club has partnered with organisations in Victoria, Australia and overseas in projects that Educate, Empower and Enable women and girls.  

This luncheon will be a fundraising event for the Australian Afghan Development Organisation (AADO), which is a voluntary, non-profit, non-government member organisation.  The purpose of AADO is  to implement projects that assist in the reconstruction and sustainable development of communities within Afghanistan.  Here in Australia, AADO seeks to support the Afghan community.

Guest speaker: Frances Millane, retired County Court Judge and member of the Australian Association of Women Judges.  She is involved in supporting Afghan judges in Australia and has just returned from the biennial conference of the International Association of Women Judges in Morocco.
