Cellular Stories

Cellular Stories includes the work of a landscape architect and artist Kate Cullity in collaboration with rug artist Jenny Jones, and architect and artist Sakthivel Eakambaranathan.

Kate Cullity's Cellular Curios is inspired by her intrigue of the scientific world as viewed through the lens of the microscope. Works include a collection of rugs created in collaboration with Jenny Jones, and mixed media wall works inspired by female human reproductive cellular structure .

Sakthivel Eakambaranathan's Whispering Folds - a work composed using traditional origami techniques, is inspired from cross-cultural artworks, celebrating the profound connection between people, the land, and the living beings that inhabit it. Each fold echoes the whispers of ancient landscapes, with the river's winding paths, tracing the journey of water as it nourishes the earth, sustains flora and fauna, and supports the first human inhabitants who settled along its banks.
