Celtic Kauri - St Patricks Day 135 Chamberlain Rd, Mon 17 Mar 6.30-9pm

St Patricks day event - led by our Irish founder Ger Tew

There will be ceol (music), caint (chat) and craic (fun) . Learn about true Irish customs, shamrocks not four leaf clovers!

The ReCreators will be providing participants with reclaimed kauri for a reimagined design.  We will offer a range of tools for your creative choice. 

- Cutting and sanding tools (jigsaw and sanders)

- Pyrography tools (4)

- Carving tools

Each participant can draw and shape their own Celtic design unique to you.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll gain confidence using different creative tools.  Its a great chance to meet community and chat while working.  

This session combines skill-building with the satisfaction of crafting something beautiful for your home or loved one.

There will be a health and safety briefing at the start of the workshop to inform participants of safety precautions before we begin using tools.

All participants should wear old clothes as its a messy workshop! Some work may be outdoors, please wear clothes according to the weather.

* Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.

* Teens are welcome to join with the attending guardian. 

You need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.

• Personal attention where required
