Join us for the biggest event on the Centenary Calendar and celebrate being part of an amazing history and community.

This will be a night of fun, nostalgia and memories for everyone who has been a part of Carey’s history, including parents and teachers past and present, and Alumni/Old Grammarians. 

We promise this event will have all the glamour you would expect from a Centenary Gala Ball with limited formalities allowing plenty of opportunities to connect with old and new friends.  

Please read the below carefully as it contains information to help with your ticket purchases.

TICKET PRICING

Individual Ticket - $225 per guest
Table of Ten - $2,250

Your Ticket includes:

1. Pre-dinner drinks
2. A sumptuous 3-course dinner
3. A generous beverage offering of Crown Reserve sparkling, wines & beers
4. Tunes to dance the night away by one of Melbourne’s premier cover bands Chunky Jam
5. Live entertainment by DJ Yvette Lee & vocalist Mike Snell to continue the party vibes
6. Bars to purchase your favourite champagne, spirits and cocktails

TICKET BOOKINGS

Tickets can be purchased individually, for a group, or as a table of ten. 

There are a limited number of tables of 12 available. To request a table of 12 please email: careyball2023@gmail.com. These will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please be aware that once you commence the booking you have 20 minutes to enter all your details before you are timed-out so we recommend having all the information at hand before purchasing your tickets.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS

If you are purchasing individual tickets and wish to be seated with parents from your child's year level, please state the 'Year Level' when prompted on the 'Ticket Holders Information' page.  If you are a past parent, staff member (current or past) or Alumi/Old Grammarian please select this from the drop down menu.

And/Or

If you are purchasing an individual ticket and would like to be seated with a particular group, when prompted for seating requests you must state the full name and year level or group of the person you would like to be seated with.  We aim to seat all guests who quote the name of a particular individual together and will make every effort to fulfil your request. 

TABLES of TEN

We recommend one person books tickets on behalf of the group / table.

When purchasing multiple tickets or a table for you and your friends, please have the following information ready when booking: 

1. Full name of each guest
2. Their individual email addresses
3. Their Dietary Requirements. 

Please note: Table of Ten bookings are limited to one table per booking.  If you are booking a table you will need to fill in the details of all ten guests. You will have 20 minutes to complete your booking before it times out. If you need to book more than one table you can ask for your tables to be placed together under the field 'name of friend or Group to be seated with/near' or if you would like to give more information, please email careyball2023@gmail.com.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

If you have any dietary requirements please specify these when prompted on the 'Ticket Holders Information' page. Dietary requirements that can be catered for include: vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, coeliac, lactose free, gluten & lactose free, pescatarian, diabetic, fructose intolerance, pregnant, nut and other allergies.

DRESS CODE

The Dress Code for this event is 'Black Tie.' This includes either a formal evening gown or cocktail dress , tuxedo or suit.

ACCOMMODATION

REFUNDS 

Unfortunately we will be unable to offer refunds within 14 days of the event.

A refund will be available prior to this time if the ticket can be resold to an individual on the waitlist. We understand that sometimes things happen so we will attempt to accommodate where possible. If you need to request a refund please contact event organiser: careyball2023@gmail.com
