Centennial of the Midland Railway Line - Photographers Event

The Canterbury Railway Society Inc and the Ferrymead Railway are celebrating the Centennial of the Midland Railway Line by hosting a Photographers Event on Saturday 5th August 2023 from 10am - 7pm.

This will feature:

• Electric Locomotive Display in Moorhouse Yard.
• Demonstration Construction, Goods, and Passenger Train consists familiar to the Midland Line from 1920's to the 1960's.
• A meal break for attendees to organise their own dinner.
• Evening Photo Session around the Moorhouse Station and Yard.

Full schedule will be available closer to the event.

If you are a member of The Canterbury Railway Society Inc or another society onsite at Ferrymead you will be able to enter the park for free but still need to purchase a Photographers Pass.
