A huge thank you to Magoobie Games in Alice Springs for hosting us.
Stick around after the presentation to spend the evening playing board games, hanging out, and having fun with fellow local creators.
Special Guest Speaker Dylan Bennett
For our August meetup, we are thrilled to welcome Dylan Bennett.
Dylan is a leader in the Northern Territory game development and tech ecosystem.
He is the founder of Larrikin Interactive, the Northern Territory first award winning video game studio behind Diets and Deities, and the CEO of The Array tech hub in Darwin. Having earned national recognition as an AGDA Industry Champion and Empower Award recipient, Dylan has been at the forefront of building opportunities for the Northern Territory.
Screen Territory Games Development Grant and Q&A
Dylan will be joining us to talk all about the games industry, building games in regional Australia, and navigating the local ecosystem.
Crucially, he will be breaking down the Screen Territory Games Development Grant funding (https://screenterritory.nt.gov.au/funding/funding-available/games-development).
Dylan will share insights on what this grant support means for local developers, how to approach funding, and how to tap into resources to help bring your interactive projects to life.
He will also stick around for an open Q&A session, so bring your questions about game design, studio production, funding, or breaking into the broader Australian game industry.
