• What is this meetup all about?

  We are a grassroots community bringing together Central Australian creators, developers, and industry practitioners across the interactive and digital landscape.

  It’s a casual space to find friends, connect with potential teammates, share projects, and build a regional community.

• Do I need to be a professional game developer to attend?

  Not at all!

  Whether you are an industry veteran, a student, a hobbyist, a business professional, or a creator from an adjacent sector (like digital art or live tech) looking to cross over, you belong here.

• Is it free?

  Yes, entry is completely free! Just RSVP via the Humanitix page so we can keep track of numbers for the venue.

• On the Day

  We meet at the Tropic of Capricorn Beer Garden in Alice Springs on Saturday 18th from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

  Can I bring my project to show?

  Absolutely! We highly encourage you to bring whatever you are working on.
  whether it's a playable build, concept art on a tablet, or just a pitch deck. It's a great space for informal feedback and testing.

  Can I come if I don't have a project to show?

  Yes! Many people come just to chat, meet others, see what the local scene is creating, or find collaborators for future projects.

• Venue & Accessibility

  Since we are meeting at the Tropic of Capricorn Beer Garden, the venue is accessible to all ages during the day, but anyone under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. All are welcome!

  Will there be food and drinks available?
  Yes, the venue has a full menu and drinks available for purchase. Grab a bite, grab a coffee or a beer, and settle in for a chat.

  Do I need to bring a laptop?
  Only if you want to show off a project! If you do bring one, just make sure it’s fully charged ahead of time, as we can't guarantee easy access to power outlets in the beer garden.

  We welcome local creators, developers, and industry supporters of all skill levels to join our community.
  The best way to get involved is to attend our meetups and connect with fellow developers.
