Registering:
Only one ticket can be purchased at a time so that MHACA has your dietary and accessibility requirements.
When registering you will be asked some questions around how you identify and what your dietary needs are. If you prefer not to answer please choose ‘prefer not to say’. If you do indicate how you identify, please note that MHACA will report on the diversity of the event attendees in a de-identified way.
Please note:
Due to venue capacity the forum has limited numbers. People who can attend both days of the forum will be given registration priority. If you can only attend one day you will go on a waiting list. If there are places left for either day by Friday 6 June 2025, you will be notified of availability.
This is an in-person only event to provide a sense of safety to people attending the forum and to reduce technical disruptions.
The forum is free to attend. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided on both days. A separate quiet space will also be provided as an area to relax or take a break from the forum.
MHACA will ensure that the Suicide Prevention Forum is a safe space to discuss the sensitive issue of suicide. Support staff will be available throughout the forum to provide support to attendees if required.
MHACA asks all people who attend the forum to be aware of the sensitive nature of suicide, and that a range of people with different backgrounds and experiences will be present. We ask you to speak safely about suicide, and be respectful to all presenters and attendees.
The forum is organised by the Mental Health Association of Central Australia, with the support of the Northern Territory Government and Central Australian Aboriginal Congress.
