Come along to the next Central North discussion group meeting with host farmers Murray and Julie.

We will discuss the farm system and managing the seasonal conditions.

Given the drier than usual autumn, some farms may have less feed on hand going into winter. We will look at the nutritional requirements for all livestock, body condition targets and then discuss feed options including options if there is no/limited silage and hay available. Daniel Goss from Tas Stockfeed will be at the discussion group to share his expertise on feed options.

A simple costing of various feed options will also be part of the discussion.
