Central Otago Tracks & Wheels 2027

Central Otago Tracks & Wheels is a three-day celebration of machinery old and new, running Easter weekend 2027 Friday 26 to Sunday 28 March in Cromwell, Central Otago.

It's where modern muscle meets vintage steel: today's excavators, trucks and earthmoving gear working alongside the tractors, engines and machines that broke in this land generations ago. Across the weekend you'll find live machinery demonstrations, grand parades, a tractor pull, a world record attempt, trade and food stalls, and plenty for the whole family.

Tracks & Wheels is a community-run event, organised by a volunteer committee of locals. Every dollar raised goes back into the Central Otago community — supporting local clubs, projects and causes. When you buy a ticket, book a site or come along for the day, you're not just seeing big machines do their thing; you're backing the district that hosts them.
