Description

Central Otago producers are heading back to Brisbane this October for PURE POURS 2026, bringing together 22 producers from New Zealand’s most southerly wine region for a relaxed, drop-in trade tasting.

Across the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to taste your way through a broad selection of Central Otago wines from the Pinot Noirs that have put the region firmly on the map, to Chardonnay, Riesling, Gamay and more.

Meet the people behind the wines, reconnect with familiar faces and discover some new ones, while getting a taste of what’s happening across the region right now.

With producers from across Central Otago in the room, it’s a chance to explore the different subregions, sites and styles. Drop in, grab a bite, taste at your own pace and have a chat with the people making the wines.

What’s happening:

  • 22 Central Otago producers pouring across the afternoon.

  • A broad selection of wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gamay and more.

  • Winemakers and winery representatives on hand to pour, chat and share what’s happening in the region.

  • An opportunity to explore the diversity of Central Otago’s subregions, sites and styles.

  • A relaxed, drop-in format with plenty of time to taste and talk.
