Event description

Join us to find out how we can all step up as climate leaders! There are so many things we can do now that will limit the impacts of climate change. This is your chance to hear from some of the most outstanding climate leaders that are paving the way in addressing the most pressing environmental and social impacts that we are facing today.

Our panel will discuss the climate issues that concern them the most and explain how it motivates them to use their unique interests and skills to make a real difference. These amazing people have demonstrated great climate leadership in many different ways and will be there to inspire you to get involved in working towards a cooler and more stable environment!

Do you have questions about climate change in Central Queensland? Or questions about ways to limit warming and build a climate-resilient community? This is your chance to ask experts all of those burning questions.

It is also your opportunity to see the Climate Changers documentary – a story that follows Australian scientist and conservationist, Tim Flannery, in his search for climate leadership.

We all have the capacity to change, and to exhibit true climate leadership. As Tim Flannery says, we each must ask ourselves: what can I do to save this beautiful world of ours?

You can watch the trailer of this documentary here.

This event goes beyond just providing information. It is about inspiring all of us to take proactive steps that will minimise the impacts of our warming world and help create a sustainable future for all of us and our future generations.

We hope you will join us!
