    Are you interested in Restorative Practices? Is your school, organisation or workplace considering adopting a restorative approach to conflict or seeking alternative behaviour development strategies? Are you an individual interested in learning more about Restorative Practices for daily community interactions. Then these workshops are for you..!! 

    Restorative Practices are for everyone, and we welcome community members from all sectors, services and organisations.

    Day 1 

    Monday 13th May - 09:00am - 3:30pm: 

    Introduction to Restorative Justice/Practice - Developing an understanding of the principles and underlying theories of RJ/RP

    Our day 1 introductory workshop provides a strong foundation of Restorative Justice/Practice theory, with the opportunity for some practical application. It is highly recommended for organisations including those working in the community services sector and anyone working in schools; principals, coordinators, teachers, SSOs or administration.

    Day 2

    Tuesday 14th May - 09:00am - 3:30pm: 

    Introduction to Restorative Justice/Practice - Putting the Theory into Practice

    Our day 2 workshop builds on the content covered in day 1, with the focus on the practical application of processes on the Restorative Practices continuum. It is also designed for participants who have undertaken Restorative Practice training in the past and would like further exposure and training on the practical application of community building circles, affective language and using restorative questions.

    Objectives of the workshop include:

    • Understanding basic foundations of restorative processes in daily life
    • Importance of community and relationships
    • Constructively navigating conflict and repairing harm
    • Knowledge of Restorative Practice processes
    • Relational tools for confidence engaging in courageous/uncomfortable conversations


    The Thebarton Community Centre is a short walk from the Brickworks Marketplace, where a range of food and beverage options are available for purchase in our designated breaks.
