2024 is the year of the Centre Managers and Coordinators, in all your capacities.

Being the custodian of a main street means that you are part of something so much bigger than many of us allow the credit for – and Mainstreet Australia want to acknowledge and celebrate you.

The Centre Managers Network, in its essence, is about bringing together (and connecting with) people who are at the helm, steering campaigns, standing up for business prosperity, and importantly - creating a sense of community.

This first Centre Managers Network event provides an opportunity for managers and coordinators of trader groups, business associations, precincts, and town centres to come together for an informal opportunity to discuss issues, share ideas and build supportive connections.

The agenda? It's going to be a great first event with:

01.30pm > Coffee and casual conversation around our recent experiences on main streets, including how can Mainstreet Australia better support Centre Managers/Coordinators?

Included also in this lunch will be a short presentation by Grant Snowden, CEO with the Small Business Mentoring Service, who have partnered with Mainstreet Australia to provide discounted professional and business development opportunities. Most of Grant's career has been as a CEO running four international companies in mining, manufacturing and distribution with team sizes from small to over 1,000. He has been on the boards of companies in five countries. As a result, he is well versed in the challenges businesses face and the solutions that assist teams and their leaders deliver. He is currently Chair and Interim CEO of the Small Business Mentoring Service, who’s 140 mentors support small and medium sized businesses all around Australia.
