This workshop is designed for students currently or previously enrolled in pottery classes at the gallery who are ready to glaze their bisque-fired work. You’ll learn how to confidently apply glazes, bringing your ceramics to life with customised finishes.

What will be covered in this course?
In this workshop, you’ll glaze the bisque-fired pottery pieces created in your course. We’ll explore the available glaze options, demonstrate key application techniques, and provide guidance as you glaze your own work in preparation for the final firing.

By the end of this course, students will:

Have glazed pieces ready for the final firing
Feel more confident selecting and applying glazes
Recognise how different glaze techniques impact surface textures and colour outcomes
