Go big or go home! Ceramic artist, Anna Mallyon will guide you through hand-building and glazing a number of items in this 7 week series.

The classes will include building technical skills in coiling, slab building (including hump moulding), the decoration of large ceramic vessels, and basic essential knowledge of clay bodies and glaze technology. Students will finish the course with at least one vase, platter or vessel up to 44cm high and/or 40cms wide.

This is a rare opportunity to focus on key technical skills not often covered in short courses.

Anna studied ceramics at ANU under the supervision of Greg Daly and later Lia Tacjnar and continues her study at VCA. She has been practising as an artist for more than a decade and established Melbourne Ceramics Network in 2014.

This is one of the few opportunities to learn with this unique teacher - to ensure a high-quality learning experience, the number of participants is capped at 10 – don’t miss out on a sought-after place in this class.

Classes will be held on Thursday evenings 6.30-8.30pm @ Newlands.
