St Macartan’s Parish Primary School have embedded sustainability throughout their curriculum, community, and incredible, expansive, and natural school grounds. They have implemented eco-friendly practices and engage students in hands-on projects that cultivate a profound connection to nature. Through gardening, recycling, conservation efforts, and fair-trade initiatives, they empower their students to become agents of positive change.

What: Network with sustainability coordinators from other schools, tour the amazing school grounds, and learn about how they implement composting

When: Wed 30th October, 4pm - 5.30pm

Cost: Free!

Afternoon tea will be provided.

Schedule:

3.30 - 4.05pm: Arrival and afternoon tea
4.05 - 4.35pm: Welcome, introductions, and networking
4.35 - 5.20pm: School tour (with a focus on the compost system)
5.20 - 5.30pm: Wrap up, questions, and evaluation
