Join us after school to explore St Macartan's Parish Primary School's inspiring sustainability initiatives at our free upcoming Teacher Network event!
St Macartan’s Parish Primary School have embedded sustainability throughout their curriculum, community, and incredible, expansive, and natural school grounds. They have implemented eco-friendly practices and engage students in hands-on projects that cultivate a profound connection to nature. Through gardening, recycling, conservation efforts, and fair-trade initiatives, they empower their students to become agents of positive change.
What: Network with sustainability coordinators from other schools, tour the amazing school grounds, and learn about how they implement composting
Where: St Macartan’s Parish Primary School, 97 Bungower Rd, Mornington VIC 3931
When: Wed 30th October, 4pm - 5.30pm
Who: School sustainability coordinators
Cost: Free!
Afternoon tea will be provided.
Schedule:
- 3.30 - 4.05pm: Arrival and afternoon tea
- 4.05 - 4.35pm: Welcome, introductions, and networking
- 4.35 - 5.20pm: School tour (with a focus on the compost system)
- 5.20 - 5.30pm: Wrap up, questions, and evaluation
