CGS Research Conference and Celebration Dinner
Description
For 100 years, Carey Baptist College has been equipping women and men for Christian ministry, mission, and leadership across Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond. As part of our Centenary celebrations, we invite you to a special day celebrating theological scholarship and its contribution to the life of the Church.
The day begins with the annual Carey Graduate School Research Conference (9.00am–4.00pm), featuring presentations from students and faculty. Explore current research across a range of theological and ministry disciplines and discover how thoughtful scholarship continues to serve the mission of God's people today.
The Research Conference is free for current Carey students. Registration for all other guests is $25, which includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.
From 5.30pm, join us for the Celebration of Scholarship Dinner. This special gathering will reflect on the place of theological scholarship within Carey's 100-year story, celebrating the contribution of our faculty, graduates, researchers, and the wider Baptist community in shaping ministry, mission, and theological reflection in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond.
Dinner tickets are $30 per person.
Whether you attend the conference, the dinner, or both, we'd love you to join us for a day of learning, conversation, and celebration as we honour the past and look forward to the future.
