Chai, Beats and Treats: Fundraising Event

Join us for a magical afternoon of food, connection, music, dance and art - all to raise funds for an amazing initiative in rural West Bengal, India - Keoratala Basanabala Girls High School. This school provides free education to girls in the rural area of Sundarbon - catering to families unable to provide schooling due to economic and geographical reasons. This school is very close to our heart and we look forward to sharing the insights and inspiration we gained from visiting the school and the students and staff earlier this year.

This event is a perfect chance to make connections, indulge in some delicious food and enjoy an afternoon of beats and treats including:

• Delicious chai from Original Chai Co.

• A specially curated Indian high tea by Kanika's Kitchen - with a complimentary glass of prosecco

• Live tabla beats by Keshav

• Afrobeats x Bengali/Bollywood Dancing featuring Dagogo, Samantha and Piyali

• Afrobeats workshop with Dagogo

• Art exhibition by professional local artists Itta, Tasmina and Kika (which will be auctioned!)

• Display of art by the students of Basanabala Girls School

• An amazing DJ spinning all your favourite tunes

Please note - as the school is still in the process of applying for Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) registry at this stage ticket donation is not tax-deductble.
