The Chai Tent Connection emerged from the heart of Confest Chai Tent energies; the warmth and spice of life blending creative space making, transcendental music, voice and body and breath expression.
Featuring Cy (Lead facilitator/Sax/Vocals), Christian (Didg) and Ronen (Percussion), the Chai tent connection is more than just a sound journey. It is healing. It is gentle. It is strong. It is the Tantra of life unfolding. The Chai Tent Connection is not a mere performance, with songs that start and end... Instead, we drop into the timeless and allow the TUNING process of sensuality and creativity to bring forth and reveal expressive forms of resonance into being.
Christian's Didgeridoos resonate deeply. Ancient earthy tones that ground our energy. Cy's Fae facilitation; elvish invitations of breath and body, blending voice and saxophone, weaving mystic soul vibes into being. Ronen's percussion tapping into our collective heart rhythms, inviting us to surrender and celebrate the beat of our own spirit's drum in a shared spectrum of primal dance. Amidst the peaks of sonic enchantment, there will be room to rest in the valleys of resting, integrating and healing - bathing in the gentle vibration of ambient patterings. As the different colours of resonance wash away the burdens of the day, your soul can expand into peace and serenity. Bodies sway in rhythm, minds wander in reverie, and spirits soar and settle in ecstatic and gentle communion.
You may want to eat a light dinner before coming, but to ground us, there with complimentary steaming cups of chai and nourishing snacks that soothe the throat and warm the heart and belly. Share embraces and stories between strangers turned friends. Recognize your inner child and remember the simple joys of being alive and surrounded by the beauty of musical tantra and community.
Bring cushions, blankets. Bring offerings to charge up our collective alter (you can of course take back your items offering when the event concludes). In short, bring anything you feel you need to allow yourself to both rest or release!! You could bring drawing materials or books to read or write in! Whatever items that you love that bring you joy and nurture your creativity!
