Come along to this FREE four week chair yoga program!

Each Thursday morning in June we will be joined by an accredited yoga instructor from Yoga Flourish who will take you through one hour of chair yoga.

Yoga has been shown to increase strength and balance, and to help reduce the risk of falls. Chair yoga uses a chair for stability to achieve yoga poses whilst having the same health benefits. Chair yoga is a fun and gentle way to achieve great health results including increasing flexibility and reducing stress. 

Places are limited and registrations are essential. To ensure the safety of participants, we require the following information to identify any individuals who may be at a higher risk of an adverse event due to exercise.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 

What age is chair yoga suitable for?
Chair yoga is suited to adults 18 years and above.

Can I attend just one session?

No. As these sessions build on exercises participants will have learnt in previous sessions, we encourage participants to attend as many of the sessions as possible.

Do I need to have yoga experience?

No. All sessions are beginner friendly.  

Do I need to bring anything?
We recommend you wear light exercise clothing that you feel comfortable in and bring a water bottle. 

Do I need to register for each individual chair yoga session?
No. Once you have registered through Humanitix or by calling 9394 5776, you are registered for the entire program (6 June, 13 June, 20 June and 27 June).
