In this course, we offer you the tools to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for your future Chair Yoga classes. You'll leave feeling confident, empowered, and ready to teach.

Curriculum includes:

Adapted Yoga Asanas for All Abilities: Learn how to adapt yoga poses for able bodied people, and those using wheelchairs, walkers, or with movement or age related challenges.
Chair Yoga Sequences: Explore Sun Salutations, Moon Salutations, Warrior & balance poses, and more, all designed for seated practice.
Anatomy & Physiology: Understand how the body moves during Chair Yoga and how to teach safely with proper alignment.
Inclusive Teaching Methods: We’ll teach you how to approach each class with kindness and inclusivity, ensuring accessibility for all.
Breathing Techniques and Pranayama: Discover breathing exercises and techniques that promote calmness, energy or mental clarity for all students.
The Business of Chair Yoga: Learn the essentials of setting up and running a successful Chair Yoga business, so you can share your new skills with your local community and beyond.

By completing the Chair Yoga Teacher Training, you’ll be empowered to share yoga’s benefits with a broad community, including seniors, people with disabilities, and others who may not have access to traditional yoga classes.
