Come along to this FREE 8 week chair yoga program!
Each Friday afternoon you will be joined by an accredited yoga instructor from Yoga Flourish who will take you through one hour of chair yoga.
Yoga has been shown to increase strength and balance, and to help reduce the risk of falls. Chair yoga uses a chair for stability to achieve yoga poses whilst having the same health benefits. Chair yoga is a fun and gentle way to achieve great health results including increasing flexibility and reducing stress.
Places are limited and registrations are essential.

What age is chair yoga suitable for?
Chair yoga is suited to adults 18 years and above.
Can I attend just one session?
Yes! We do encourage participants to attend as many of the sessions as possible, however we understand that this is not always possible. You will need to register for each session that suits you.
Do I need to have yoga experience?
No. All sessions are beginner friendly.
Do I need to bring anything?
We recommend you wear light exercise clothing that you feel comfortable in and bring a water bottle.
What do I do if I need to cancel my ticket?
You can cancel your ticket using your humanitix email you received when you registered. Otherwise you can contact the City's Health team on 0893945776 to cancel or change the ticket for you.
What are the dates?
Friday's, 1:30 - 2:30pm.
7th February, 14th February, 21st February, 28th February, 7th March, 14th March, 21st March, and 28th March.
