Chale Wote invites you to a night of genre-bending music. Opening with the fearless and gritty poetry of Jag, followed by the rare Afro Cuban, African and Sri Lankan grooves of The Mouth.

Ending off the night is Chale Wote, where Ghanaian traditional meets Australian contemporary improvised music. Chale Wote connects the next generation of Australian improvising musicians with Ghanaian musicians based in Naarm/Melbourne.

The Grace Darling Hotel was constructed in 1854 and retains its original architectural build. Thus, the Band Room & Basement are regrettably not wheelchair accessible. The Main Bar level is wheelchair accessible.
All bathrooms at the Grace Darling Hotel are gender neutral (Located on the Atrium level (4 steps), and in the upstairs Band Room)
