About the Conference

An inspiring weekend in the Hunter Valley

Get ready for an inspiring weekend in the beautiful Hunter Valley as we come together for the 2027 District 9815 Conference.

With the theme Challenge to Change, this Conference will encourage us to show up, embrace new ideas, accept the changes ahead, and create a Rotary experience like no other.

Set in one of Australia’s most loved wine regions, the Conference will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends, be inspired by great speakers, enjoy fellowship and laughter, and take time to explore everything the Hunter Valley has to offer.

Refund policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy If you are no longer able to attend an event you have registered for, you may cancel your registration and apply for a refund as per the policy time frames below. To apply for a refund or arrange a registration transfer, please contact David Button via david.button@rotary9815.org.au. Refunds - General Events Up to 28 days before - Refund available 100%. Between 27 and 15 days before - 50% refund available. Within 14 days before - No refund available from this date, or for non-attendance, however registrations can be transferred to a new person (see below). While we understand that circumstances can change after registering for an event, these fees help to cover the administration required for cancellations, venue payment requirements and event costs already incurred. Cancellations due to illness or death Any delegates who are unable to attend an Event due to illness or death within 27 days before the 13th of March 2026, a refund will be at the discretion of the District Conference Chair and in consideration of any venue or event related costs already incurred. Please contact either Conference Chair, Monique Smith via monique.Smith@rotary9815.org.au, or Wil Cornelissen via wil.Cornelissen@rotary9815.org.au Accommodation Cancellation Policy. Please contact your Hotel or booking agent directly. Transferring Registration Unless stated otherwise, all 2027 District Conference events allow registrations to be transferred to a new attendee. To transfer a registration, please contact David Button via david.button@rotary9815.org.au. Please note changes in dietary requirements may not be able to be met if transferring a booking within 14 days of the event. Conference Cancellation or Postponement. The Conference Organisers accept no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond their reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion. If the Conference Organisers elect to re-schedule the conference, all registrations and additional items are automatically rolled over to the new dates of the conference. If the Conference Organisers elects to cancel the event, the liability is limited to a refund of registration costs. The Conference Committee will not refund any travel costs or accommodation costs associated with the cancellation of the event. Unforeseen Circumstances / Force Majeure. If any act of terrorism, civil disturbance, industrial action, epidemic, natural disaster, or event beyond the Organiser’s control prevents us from carrying out our obligations we will not be liable for non-performance or refund.

Rotary District 9815 encompasses 87 Rotary Clubs and over 2,000 active members. This district stretches from the vibrant Melbourne bayside suburbs, down the scenic Mornington Peninsula, through the charming hill villages of the Dandenongs, across the expansive Gippsland plains, and all the way to Orbost. It covers a vast and diverse geographical area, home to equally fascinating and resourceful Rotarians.
