Join us during Refugee Week to challenge racism and hateful misinformation.
Are you concerned about racism, hate speech and divisive narratives in the media?
Empower yourself with the tools to identify and tackle racist, hateful and divisive misinformation. By the end of the workshop, you will:
- Recognise and address hateful and divisive narratives
- Understand the link between misinformation, racism and other forms of hate
- Confidently tackle controversial issues
All community members are welcome to attend.
Date: Wednesday 18th June, 4pm – 6pm
Location: Media Lab, Hurstville Library (Cnr Dora St and Queens Rd, Hurstville NSW 2220)
Cost: Free (light refreshments will be provided)
