Champions of Tourism 2026

Celebrate the people, businesses and experiences shaping Northern Tasmania’s visitor economy at the 2026 Champions of Tourism Awards.

This year’s event will be held at the brand new cellar door and restaurant at Small Wonder, where sweeping vineyard views, thoughtful design and a deep connection to place set the scene for an unforgettable evening. And be among the first to experience this exciting new addition to our regions visitor experiences. Warm, refined and distinctly Tasmanian, Small Wonder offers a setting that invites guests to gather and celebrate the region, our produce and the people behind it.

Bringing together tourism operators, industry leaders, partners and takeholders from across Northern Tasmania, Champions of Tourism recognises excellence, innovation and contribution across the visitor economy. From emerging businesses and passionate individuals to long-standing operators creating exceptional visitor experiences, the evening shines a light on the stories, achievements and collaboration that continue to strengthen the region’s tourism industry.

Guests can expect a black tie evening of connection, recognition and celebration, featuring local food and wine, industry camaraderie and the opportunity to acknowledge the people helping Northern Tasmania thrive as a destination.
