Change and Connection in the Uplands: Stories and Learnings from an Oral History Project

The session discusses an oral history project nearing completion, and shares experience that can benefit people wanting to undertake projects of this sort. It will outline the approach taken in design, and lessons still being learned in identifying interviewees, prior preparation/briefing, recording stories, generating transcripts, potential pitfalls and sensitivities, and issues of permissions and custodianship.

This event is part of the Queanbeyan-Palerang Heritage Festival.
