Change in Action 2026 Grand Final Showcase Event
Description
Join us for the Change in Action 2026 Student Showcase, a celebration of youth led research, bold thinking and evidence-based ideas in public health.
Hosted by Queensland Academies Health Sciences Campus in collaboration with the Gold Coast Health's Public Health Unit, this event brings together students, health professionals, educators, families and community members to explore an important question facing young Australians today:
How might we design public health solutions that prevent harm, shift conditions and reach young people in the places they live, learn and connect?
Across the intensive program, Year 10 students will research contemporary public health challenges affecting their generation, consult with mentors and develop evidence-based solutions to present to a professional audience.
The Student Showcase is an opportunity to hear their ideas, engage with their research and celebrate the work of our next generation of health innovators.
