Here’s a few housekeeping items to help your day go smoothly:

Getting there

CENTREPIECE is readily accessible by car, tram, train or a short walk from the CBD and surrounds.

Ample parking is available  via  Entrance D (Olympic Boulevard) in  the Eastern Plaza car park. There are also limited accessible car parks in the car park via Entrance A (Batman Avenue).

Find out more here: https://centrepiecemelbourne.com/plan-your-visit/getting-here/

On arrival

When you arrive, Change Our Game volunteers will be on hand to check you in and let you know what table you’ll be sitting on.

If you are coming as a guest of an organisation, please let the host know the organisation name so they can find your details and check you in.

Everyone is encouraged to head towards your tables on arrival – but don't worry, there will be plenty of time to connect throughout the afternoon.

Accessibility

CENTREPIECE is a fully accessible venue. If you have any questions relating to the venue’s accessibility, please contact CENTREPIECE on 9286 1600 or email changeourgame@sport.vic.gov.au.

Auslan interpreters will be available via the online livestream of the event’s Mindset Intensive. If you are attending the in-person event and would like Auslan signing, we recommend bringing a device (laptop or tablet) to view this.

Anything else?

We’ve had a few questions about what to wear. Dress code is business casual (or whatever you feel your best in!).

We’d love to see all your photos and experiences of the day so tag us  – at @ChangeOurGame on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, and don’t forget #ChangeOurGame #IWD2023 to join the global conversation.

We’re looking forward to connecting and celebrating IWD with you – see you there!

In the sporting capital of the world, join your friends and colleagues from across the sports sector in celebrating International Women's Day 2023

On Wednesday 8 March, the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation (OWSR) will host the Change Our Game International Women’s Day Lunch at CENTREPIECE, on Wurundjeri Land.

The theme for International Women’s Day in 2023 is ‘Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future.’

Innovation is fundamentally about the use of new ideas and methods, and in support of this, let’s start #CrackingTheCode on something OWSR hears from women almost every day: confidence.

Let’s reset and reframe how we as an industry view confidence. That confidence is not something that is attained externally from a course or validation or ticking off a career milestone, but a skill that we can all practice, build and flex.

One of Australia’s leading sports mindset coaches, Emma Murray, will deliver a one-hour Mindset Intensive, helping guests' level up their mindsets and teaching them how to bring their A-game when they need it most.

The event will also include the Change Our Game Connection Hub, where guests can network, make new connections, reflect on the Mindset Intensive, and engage with some of the innovation activations.
