Globally, despite the best efforts and intentions, mental health is not improving, and in some cases, it is getting markedly worse, and this has been the same for decades.

Most modalities take a symptomatic approach to trauma, which will often seek to dull or blunt the effects but not resolve the trauma itself.

These approaches would not work for me; merely managing the symptoms was no way to live, and retelling/reliving the events was something I could not do, I didn't enjoy it the first time!
