Making Change is a sector- and creative community-led project being delivered by Regional Arts Victoria across the five municipalities of the G21: Colac Otway, Golden Plains, Surf Coast, Queenscliffe and Geelong. With the guidance of a task force of the region’s major creative stakeholders, the project’s objectives are to deliver opportunity, connection and development for creatives across the region.

Changemakers is a program of events held throughout 2024 that is designed to bring creative leaders, practitioners and decision-makers together over multiple sites across the region to share ideas, practice and opportunity. Changemakers will also serve to promote broader awareness of the work being undertaken in smaller, regional areas and create space for opportunity and exchange between regional and metropolitan centres and smaller communities.

We’ll host a variety of innovators and big thinkers from across and outside the region to share ideas and possibilities for change.

Meet other creatives from across the region – develop new projects, collaborations, new ideas and new ways of working.

Possible outcomes include collaborative partnerships, informal mentorships, funding opportunities and seeding of new ideas.
