The event will be raising funds for the work of ChangeMakers, River's Edge Church's community arm. The event will feature:

Youth run "Op Shop

Plenty of activities for the kids
An opportunity to learn more about the work of ChangeMakers

All proceeds raised from this event (food sales, auctions etc) will go towards ChangeMakers

We are also encouraging Tax Deductible donations to our charitable partners:

The Sydney Refugee Team, who are doing some amazing work in the local community helping our new refugee and asylum seeker migrants settle into life in Australia
Destiny Rescue, who are rescuing children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking and helping them stay free.

A bit about ChangeMakers: ChangeMakers was established to provide support for those from socially disadvantaged communities in the local area of River's Edge Church, including Ermington, Ryde, Telopea and Auburn. A particular focus of the charity is supporting people from refugee, asylum seeking and migrant backgrounds. Over the years, we have helped over 1200 people through financial giving and practical support such as food, clothing and counselling services.
