PSS Productions and The Baroque Room are proud to present Changes: A Celebration of the Music of David Bowie, live at the Baroque Room, Katoomba on Saturday November 25, 2023. This event takes its cue from the wildly successful Life On Mars event of 2016, following the untimely death of the art-rock icon on January 11 of that year. Changes seeks to recreate the magic of that special night, with artists from the original event (Dan Silk, The Winstons, Lenny Marks, Jason Thornton) appearing onstage alongside new faces (Andie, Pam Allen, Jimmi Carr, Michael Macken) and performing a wide selection of Bowie's material across his career. Songs range from classic early singles (Space Oddity, Changes, Life On Mars) through the Ziggy-Stardust-era (John, I'm Only Dancing, Moonage Daydream), Bowie’s white-soul period (Young Americans, Fame), his move to Berlin in the mid-1970s (Heroes) through to renewed success in the 1980s (Ashes To Ashes, Modern Love) and beyond. Staged in the opulent surrounds of the Baroque Room at the Carrington Hotel, Katoomba, this one-time event promises not to disappoint.
