Join us for a Seiðr High Seat Ceremony for Channeling Freya, the Norse Goddess of Love and War.
Lorelei Hewitt will be demonstrating and teaching the ancient art of Seiðr.
Channelling is a form of mediumship that has been documented as being used in every recorded culture around the world. In the ancient Nordic pagan and shamanic traditions, this form of mediumship was called Seiðr (pronounced Saythr). Seiðr was typically performed by women called Völvas and was most often used for the purposes of predicting and manifesting the future.
Lorelei Hewitt will be recreating a Seiðr High Seat Ceremony as it is described in the Eric the Red Saga. She will be channelling Freya, the original teacher of Seiðr.
You can come and ask Freya — the Goddess of Love and War — any question you want and participate in this ancient shamanic ceremony of oracular practice.

WHERE: DoubleTree by Hilton Portland at 1000 NE Multnomah St, Portland, OR 97232. PARKING is FREE in the garage (get a green card from us when you leave).
HOW MUCH: $25 ahead, $30 at the door (and $15 for those with a Booth at the MeWe Fair)
HOW TO PAY: Please pay at Humanitix or cash, card, paypal, venmo, etc. at the door
WHO: Lorelei Hewitt is a modern mystic, a healer, teacher and seer. She works within the realms of non-ordinary reality and makes changes that are felt in ordinary reality. She does this by following the threads of light that bind you to your fate or by working with spirits that might be affecting your choices in life.
She is passionate about helping you establish a daily practice that allows you to realize a mystical life. She wants to help you see your magical power in every sleeping and waking moment.
Lorelei has been a healer and trance medium for 15 years. She also unravels curses, leads ceremony, does rune readings.
