The Chanting Circle - Day Retreat (Moruya)

Event description

A ONE DAY CHANTING IMMERSION WITH LUCY & DEEPIKA

Let’s spend a day together in the heart of Moruya on sacred Yuin land with like-minded community.

This immersion is an opportunity to deepen your chanting practice, learn new mantras, understand the stories and mythology of the mantras, explore how these mantras relate to your own life and how you can bring them into your daily practice.

The chanting practices will include 108 round mantra japa practices as well as chanting along with harmonium. We’ll also include some gentle yoga and movement practices throughout the day.

Being immersed in this sacred, devotional, and powerful practice of connection will bring you back to presence, peace, joy and stillness (your True Self).

This is a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space where you’re free to let go of any limitations + stories around your voice and what it sounds like. We all have a beautiful inner song to be heard.

These practices can help to open your voice, so that you can feel more confident expressing yourself, not only through chanting but also in your daily life. Everyone is welcome and there’s no experience necessary. All you need is an open heart and mind.

A whole food lunch, snacks, tea, honey, and water will be provided (There will be gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options). BYO water bottle, yoga mat, cushion, journal + pen (we’ll have some spare mats if needed).

*This event will be held at the Moruya Mechanics Institute. 13 Page Street, Moruya, NSW. 2537.
