From Chaos to Calm – A Hands-On Family Workshop to Improve Communication and Understand Feelings

When big emotions take over, it can feel like your home turns into a jungle of wild cats and lolloping puppies. One minute everyone’s calm… the next, someone’s in tears, slamming doors, or shutting down....and it can be the kids and adults.

If you’ve ever wondered “why can’t we just talk without it turning into a meltdown?” — this workshop is for you.

Join Zoe from Zode Kinesiology for a fun, hands-on workshop designed for parents and children (age 9+) to learn, laugh, and connect while discovering how our brains and bodies respond to stress and emotion.

Together we’ll explore:
* The brain states and how to recognise each state in yourself and your child
* How to “talk to the right brain” with easy-to-understand language
What happens when the nervous system is in fight, flight, freeze or appease and how to spot the signs
Simple, powerful tools to calm the nervous system so everyone can think, feel, and communicate more clearly

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a playful, interactive session where parents and kids learn together. You’ll walk away with practical ways to bring more calm, connection, and understanding into your family life.
