ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Karen Nickels' artistic journey finds its roots in the profound influence of her late Grandmother, a gifted artist whose legacy continues to inspire Karen's creative spirit. 

Karen's path led her not only to become a dedicated Secondary Art/Design Teacher but also to embark on her own artistic odyssey, imparting her knowledge and skills to both adults and children through private lessons in her Tanunda gallery - Art Innovations. 

Karen's artistic vision knows no bounds as she fearlessly explores a wide spectrum of art mediums and is the Founder and Program Director of the 2024 Barossa Arts Festival.
