We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Train the Trainer session, where you will learn practical ways to help your clients, friends and family, make smarter energy choices and reduce their household energy costs.

This free training covers real, usable strategies you can take back into your practice or daily life - with plenty of tips around energy bills, wellbeing, energy efficiency, and the broader system changes that affect the households you support.

What Will Be Covered:

We will be going through four core modules:

What’s the go with energy? – Get across the bigger picture and where households fit in
Energy & Wellbeing – Understand how energy impacts health, comfort and resilience
Are you paying too much? – Learn how to read bills and what supports are out there
What can I do at home? – Explore practical ways to improve home energy use

We will also touch on:

A DIY Home Tune-Up Checklist
Mis-information around mould and energy
Helpful tip sheets to share with your clients
Other upcoming training opportunities and resources

What to bring:

Your printed learning materials (emailed once your registration is confirmed)
Laptop (if you’ve got one)
Pen and notebook
A copy of your electricity bill (and gas if applicable)
Photos of your home (roof, shade, solar panels, etc — for our bill review segment)
Sun protection and water bottle (if the weather allows, we’ll do a quick walk-around for a DIY energy check-up)

On the day:

There’ll be barista-made coffee and snacks available for purchase from the coffee cart. Free tea and coffee is also available inside the room.
