Charity Auction to support Standardbred racehorse rehoming!
Event description
Stable to Stirrup is a registered charity based in Canterbury, New Zealand. We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home standardbred racehorses. Standardbreds are sociable and reliable horses that deserve a full and happy life after racing.
With the kind support of Addington Raceway, we are launching the Annual Charity Auction event to support retired Standardbred racehorse re-homing.
Our goal is to raise awareness and much-needed funds to continue our work on retired Standardbred horse welfare.
Join us for a night with live music and entertainment. MC Greg O'Conner and Auctioneer Craig Wiggins will auction the equine industry prizes, travel, and leisure experience items on the night.
Doors open at 5pm with drinks on arrival, followed by a three course buffet dinner.
All proceeds will go to Standardbred racehorse rehabilitation and rehoming!
