Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 2022

International Grammar School is excited to present Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the Musical.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a musical based on the 1964 children's novel of the same name by Roald Dahl, with book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

Shows will take place on 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 July 2022 from 6.30pm in the IGS School Hall.

There will be a sweets bag available for purchase with your online ticket and can be collected on school grounds on the night of your show. The sweets package will include two water bottles, a marshmallow twist, lemon sherbet and a WONKA Bar.

Running time Charlie and the Chocolate Factory running time is approximately 2 hours and 10 mins, including a 20 minute interval. 

Age recommendation The Musical is recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, the show is suitable for ages six and up. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. All children must be old enough to occupy their own seats.
