Charlotte Ekkel at New Hall, Point Lonsdale – Changing of the Seasons Album Tour
Event description
Charlotte Ekkel brings her debut album Changing of the Seasons (out June 20) to Point Lonsdale for an intimate, full band show at New Hall.
Charlotte is a queer folk singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Victoria. Changing of the Seasons sees her exploring cycles of love, loss and change in parallel with nature, all with her characteristically poetic lyricism and intricate guitar work. Ultimately, it’s an album about heartbreak, yet an undercurrent of hope and peace runs through every song. This gentle optimism rests in the constancy of nature, and the processes of change and renewal that underpin life.
Charlotte will be performing Changing of the Seasons with her all-star band of Sam Anning (bass), Kyrie Anderson (drums), and Lucy McKenzie-McHarg (fiddle). Supporting on the night will be fellow Melbourne-based alt-folk artist Well Into Winter.
