Charlotte Le Lievre
Charlotte Le Lievre writes country songs that cut deep — honest, raw, and grounded in real life. With a voice that’s equal parts vulnerable and commanding, her music pulls from early country and folk traditions to make sense of grief, joy, resistance, and the stories we carry. Charlotte spent her 20s hitchhiking, living at blockades in remote corners of the continent, and learning how to live with grief. Her style and sound combine the richness of that life experience with a deep admiration for the roots of country and folk music. Charlotte's debut album, Songs from the Barrier Line (2023), made an immediate impact, debuting at #4 on the ARIA Australian Country Album Chart and #3 on the AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association) Album Chart. The album was featured on Bandcamp’s Best Country Music list for March 2023, and earned nominations for Contemporary Folk Album of the Year at the Australian Folk Music Awards and Best Country Work at the Music Victoria Awards.
Flora
Flora presents their stringband trio with Lali Hodgkins on banjo and Luke Brynes on fiddle. Their music reflects a reverence for the land, weaving narratives of healing and resilience, marrying indie-folk and alt-country with punk ethos. With sweet melodies and acoustic guitar, they sing about times in dark places, healing, remembering home and dreams of better futures.
The Ironbark Brothers
Twin singin’ hillbilly wonders; the Ironbark Brothers retell the stories of yesteryear, plucking a fine selection of bush ballads and country folk from the songbook of our rocky past. All important subjects of lovin, leavin, drinkin, gamblin and even minin will all be covered before they’re done. Expect guitar strumming, harp blowing and high yodelling all wrapped in sweet blood harmony.
