Charlotte Le Lievre writes country songs that cut deep: honest, raw, and grounded in real life. With a voice that’s equal parts vulnerable and commanding, her music pulls from early country and folk traditions to make sense of grief, joy, resistance and the stories we carry.

Charlotte's debut album, Songs from the Barrier Line (2023), made an immediate impact, debuting at #4 on the ARIA Australian Country Album Chart and #3 on the AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association) Album Chart. The album was featured on Bandcamp’s Best Country Music list for March 2023 and earned nominations for Contemporary Folk Album of the Year at the Australian Folk Music Awards and Best Country Work at the Music Victoria Awards.

Renowned for her captivating live performances, Charlotte has shared stages with Jimbo Mathus (USA), The Burning Hell (CAN) and C.W. Stoneking. She has also played acclaimed festivals across the country including Out on the Weekend, Woodford Folk Festival, Nannup Music Festival, The Town Folk Festival, Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, Yackdandandah Folk festival, NewFarm NewCountry Festival and Nundle Rocks. She showcased at BIGSOUND in Brisbane in 2024 and participated in the 2025 Seed Fund Workshop for self-managed artists.

Charlotte is currently working on her sophomore album, Grief Knows No Borders, slated for release in February 2027 via Cheatin’ Hearts Records. The first singles from this release “Tamworth Lights” and “I Yearn To Love Someone” were both added to high rotation on ABC Country and received widespread support from community radio across the country.

Demi Mitchell writes with soft grit. Known for songs that never shy away from the dark, she pairs understated arrangements and unforced honesty with a voice that holds both tenderness and intensity. Drawing on folk, indie rock and alt-country influences, her cosmic folk sound is woven with hypnotic grooves, shimmering guitars and atmospheric textures. 

Her debut album, The Overflow (2018), marked her emergence as a compelling new voice and storyteller, earning a four-star review from Rolling Stone Germany and national airplay across Australia. In the years that followed, Mitchell moved through profound personal transformation, writing a new body of work from a deepened sense of self.

Mitchell's recently completed record unveils a broader, more expansive sound, grounded in the restraint and emotional depth that define her songwriting. With quiet confidence, she invites listeners to sit with her in the intimate hours of longing, desire and grief.
