    Event description

What do New Zealanders really think about ethical/responsible and impact investment? Where do they want their funds invested? How important is climate change? What do they want to avoid?

Join us for the exclusive unveiling of our latest annual report, "Voices of Aotearoa: Demand for Ethical Investment in New Zealand 2023", a collaboration between Mindful Money and the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA).

Dive into this comprehensive exploration of New Zealanders' ethical investment preferences to uncover the current data and trends over the past five annual surveys:

    • Consumer expectations of their investment provider
    • Which age groups are most interested in investing with impact
    • Gender preferences for different responsible investment strategies
    • What Kiwis are thinking about greenwashing

This study, which builds on reports in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022, aims to understand and track the changing awareness and attitudes of New Zealanders with regard to ethical and responsible investments.

A panel will discuss the analysis and trends behind this year’s data:

    • 🎙️Barry Coates, CEO and founder of Mindful Money
    • 🎙️Dean Hegarty, Executive Manager of Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA)
    • 🎙️John Berry, Co-Founder, CEO and Wayfinder at Pathfinder Asset Management Limited
