It's Mental Health Month!

Each year, 10 October marks World Mental Health Day, led by the World Health Organization (WHO). We continue to celebrate 'A Small Connection Goes A long Way' throughout the month of Oct.

Join us for a relaxed morning tea and share stories that may take you down memory lane. Using 16 carefully selected images from the U Shape Us conversation cards, we'll spark meaningful conversations across generations and cultures.

This simple yet powerful activity helps build community resilience while reducing social isolation and loneliness.

Come along for a chat. Bring your curiosity—we'll provide the refreshments!

Getting There

Bus 120 operates as a loop service between Chatswood Station and the QVB.
Bus 115 runs between North Sydney and Chatswood Station.
Alight at Chatswood Terminal and walk 5 min. to 6 McIntosh St.
Parking available at Chatswood Westfield.

Mental Health Month 2026 Theme: "A Small Connection Goes a Long Way."

Here are a few simple ways to combat loneliness and social isolation:

Invite a friend over for coffee or a meal.
Visit an older relative or neighbour who is housebound.
Start a book club.
Join a sporting team or hobby group.
Organise a catch-up at your local library.
Find your own way to connect with others and help create a welcoming, caring community.
