This is our first Hat Bar, so a minimum number of participants is required.
September 7 is our go/no-go date.
• If we meet the minimum, we'll purchase supplies and the Hat Bar is ON! 🎉
• If we don't meet the minimum, your Hat Bar ticket will be refunded in full.
• Hat Bar tickets are refundable through September 7.
• After September 7, Hat Bar tickets are non-refundable because supplies will be purchased based on ticket sales.

FAQs
- Do I need to read a specific book?
Nope! Silent Book Club is all about reading whatever you want in any format you want. Bring any book you're currently enjoying - physical, Kindle, audiobook with headphones, or even a magazine or graphic novel.
- Do I have to talk or socialize?
Not at all. Socializing is completely optional. You're welcome to read quietly the entire time and head out when you're ready.
- What if I come alone?
That's totally normal! Many attendees come solo. Silent Book Club is designed to be welcoming and low-pressure, whether you come alone or with friends.
- Is the book swap required?
No. The book swap is completely optional and free. You do not need to bring a book to participate - feel free to browse, swap, or skip it altogether.
- What kind of books can I bring to the swap?
Any gently used books you're ready to pass along! Popular fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, romance - all genres are welcome.
- Do I need to purchase the craft add-on to attend?
No. The add-on craft is optional. You're welcome to attend just to read and enjoy the evening.
- When do I work on the craft if I purchase one?
Craft kits can be worked on before or after the silent reading hour, or taken home to complete later. Each kit comes with instructions.
- Do I need to pre-order the craft add-on?
Yes. Craft kits must be pre-ordered so we can prepare supplies in advance. A small number of extras may be available at the event if supplies allow.
- What should I bring?
Bring a book you’re excited to read (physical book, e-reader, or audiobook with headphones). Since the brewery is still a public space, it won’t be completely silent — if you’re sensitive to noise or easily distracted, feel free to bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones. A few earplugs will also be available if you need them. And of course, bring yourself — everything else is optional.
- Is there food available?
Yes! Lone Tree Brewing Co. offers a variety of options, including craft beers, seltzers, sodas, and non-alcoholic beers, along with pizzas and pretzels. Food trucks are also scheduled at each of our events for additional food options.
- Is this event 21+?
No — this is not a 21+ only event. You’re welcome to bring your book dragons in training 🐉📚. Please note that this event takes place at a brewery, and for everyone’s comfort and safety, running around is not permitted. Children should remain with their adults at all times so we can maintain a calm, cozy reading environment. During the silent reading hour, conversations should be kept to a minimum. If you’d prefer to chat instead of read, feel free to move to another area of the brewery or step outside. Well-behaved, leashed furry reading pups are also welcome 🐶📖.
- What happens if I can't attend after purchasing a ticket?
General admission tickets are free, so if you’re no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can release your spot to someone else — especially if there is a waitlist. If you purchased the optional craft add-on, you may request a full refund or choose to donate your craft kit to another attendee. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for both general admission and craft add-ons so we can best coordinate with brewery staff and plan craft supplies.
