What is the event timing?

VIP guests may arrive for a 6:00pm reception; all other guests should arrive for a 7:00pm start time. Check-in will begin 15 minutes early for both the VIP reception and standard event time. The event ends at 11pm.

Do I need to purchase admission to Universal Orlando theme parks to be able to attend the event?

No. Your ticket purchase includes access to the exclusive The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Hogsmeade™ dessert party, which you will be escorted to by Universal Studios team members at the appropriate time. There is no charge to enter Universal CityWalk.

I'm a Universal Orlando Resort Passholder; do I still need to pay to attend the event?
Yes, this is a separate ticketed event, hosted by Give Kids The World and outside of the inclusions of your annual pass.

Is there a different ticket price for children?

Children are welcome, but we believe this event is more geared towards guests 18+. The price is the same for any guests over 3 years of age. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Are there any discounts available?

If you are purchasing tickets for a group of 8 or more, please reach out to events@gktw.org for pricing.

I am a GKTW Alumni, are there discounts for me?

Please reach out to events@gktw.org with any alumni questions regarding the event.

Does my ticket purchase help to fulfill wishes?

All proceeds benefit Give Kids The World Village, which is one of less than 1% of all U.S. charities to receive Charity Navigator’s highest rating 18 years in a row.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are only available through August 1, 2025. After that time, refunds will not be issued.

Are there any room discounts available?

Yes! Please email events@gktw.org for information on how to book discounted rooms on Universal Orlando Resort property.

What is the policy for inclement weather?

Cheers to You will occur in rain or shine. We will adhere to Universal Orlando's weather policy in dangerous conditions. In the event a cancellation is necessary, tickets purchased for that night's event will be refunded.

Is there transportation provided to the event.

Transportation will not be provided, but there is ease of access to CityWalk if you book a room via one of the room block resorts. Please email events@gktw.org for information on how to book discounted rooms on Universal Orlando Resort property.

Where do I park? And is there a charge?

Parking for the event is available inside the Universal Parking Garage located at 6000 Universal Boulevard; Orlando, FL 32819. You will be emailed a parking pass for complimentary parking the week prior to the event.

Is there ADA parking available?

Yes, all vehicles with Disabled Person Parking Permits will be directed to the appropriate parking area within the Universal Parking Garage at arrival.

What if I have an allergy?

Please email events@gktw.org with the details of your food allergies, and we will do our best to ensure there are available options for you.

Will there be merchandise available for purchase?

Ollivander's Wand Shop in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Hogsmeade™ will be open during the dessert party portion of the event (9:30pm - 11:00pm)

Can I bring my pet?

Trained Service Animals are welcome. Animals who do not meet the definition of a Service Animal will not be permitted in the park.

Are guests permitted to have firearms, ammunition, or weapons on the property.

No. For everyone's safety and enjoyment of Universal Orlando Resort, note the following: All visitors must pass through metal detection. All bags, backpacks, purses, packages, and personal items are subject to X-ray and/or additional inspection prior to entering CityWalk or Theme Park(s). Any items that could be used as a weapon are not permitted, including, but not limited to: firearms, explosives, fireworks, chemical dispensing devices, clubs, sticks, knives, swords or other object(s) that may be used in any way to inflict bodily injury on another person.
