Cheese is delicious, nutritious and making your own is a very satisfying and money saving skill. Chef Tim will get you started with this addictive hobby as you learn to make some simple cheeses you can easily make at home. This is part two of our cheesemaking series, in which Tim will show you three different types of homemade cheese.

Overview of cheesemaking basics
Ingredients and equipment needed
Hands-on demonstrations of three cheeses - Persian fetta, Greek yoghurt and marinated labneh
Recipes and demonstrations of a few recipes using these cheeses

There will be plenty of tastings as well as tips and advice on where to get the best ingredients, cheesemaking supplies and equipment + recipes to take home.

Meet Tim

Tim Greaves has 24 years of experience as a chef in Australia and the U.K., focused on European and Modern Australian Fine Dining. These days he focuses on sharing his skills as a teacher and running his hot sauce business 'Foraged Fire.' Tim is passionate about sustainability, minimising waste and sourcing and eating locally and an obsessive forager, fermenter and home gardener.

Our weekly farmer's market will be in full swing during your workshop, so it's worth arriving a little early to check out the stalls and maybe buy some fresh produce.
